This day changed my life....FOREVER In 2004 I was hit by an IED, ( road side bomb),  while in Iraq.  Back then there was no diagnosis for traumatic brain injuries, while this event  should have been catastrophic, my injuries, to include  the traumatic brain injury, went undiagnosed for years   These are my personal photos taken at the time, by Larson Leidig who was in a different squad.  The above explosion is from us being tasked to blow up a field full of abandoned bombs ranging from 100 lbs to over 1000 lbs.  It took us a full year to to get rid of all these things, that's how many there were.  No idea why or how they got there. these are some of the photos I used to design the image I went with the broken clay to symbolize the brokenness that I felt  after returning from combat, and am still trying to piece back together.  It will never be the same again. Took 7 different pics, had to use the one with crazy conspiracy guy in the door as my main image because all the other pics, the door was closed.  Not difficult to do at all.  A little time consuming, over all not that bad.  

  In high school we had to recreate Andy Warhol's piece of Marilyn Monroe, my picture was of Bugs Bunny I wanted to make another one from this assignment. However, due to software issues....this was by far the most frustrating assignment... Photoshop kept crashing and freezing every time I would zoom in to adjust the pixels.   My saves occasionally wouldn't save and my layer masks, when I would go to reuse them, would be waaay off so the colors would bleed and I had  to redo the edges every image.   But I think the end result was impressive, even though all my friends tell me I look like a drag queen!
